For centuries, in the remote mountains of the Moroccan Atlas, weaving was exclusively the domain of women. From shearing the sheep to spinning the wool, through vegetable dyeing using saffron, indigo, or madder, every step required patience and devotion.

Even today, on traditional wooden looms, artisans cross warp and weft threads with impressive dexterity, knotting every woolen thread one by one by hand. It can sometimes take several weeks, or even months, to complete a single piece.
